Early in 1977, a group of motorcyclists from an area church organized for the purpose of riding and fellowship. Dick Swanson, who was a new member of CMA encouraged the others to join.

This group met and rode together for approximately a year and on January 1, 1978 they received their charter (Chapter #3). The first chapter meeting was held at Elmer’s Pancake House at NE 82nd Ave.

Founding members were Dick Swanson, Daryl Swanson, Cary and Anna Bates, Terry and Nancy Manard, Earl and Enuice Jones, Bert and Vi Bently.
